So I had an urge to listen to T.I.’s “Paper Trail” this morning. Pretty good album…But he has one line that is, to me at least, the best line on the album. It’s the truth.
“In order to understand my train of thought, you’ll have to put yourself in my position. You can’t expect to think like you, cuz my life aint like yours.”
When dealing with people, keep this is mind. Just remember, it works both ways. So, save your time AND their time….Find common ground.
